Brenna Cheyney is an ever-changing, unfurling, and expanding Holobiont of assemblage, interpretation, and synthesis, with awareness in the ecotonal interspaces and polytemporal time scales of queer ecology and ecocentric spirituality, in constant gratitude for all the beings and entities who have been and continue to be their teachers.

Intersectional, community-focused, multidisciplinary artist, ecocentric polymath, and lifelong learner, with a passion for social and environmental justice, the intersections of art and science, and compassionate connection with all natural forms.

Their work is based in the truth that humans are a part of nature, and in nature, inherent hierarchy is non-existent, there are no individuals, and queerness is innate.

They find purpose in communicating with our natural kin through biodynamic embodiment and high-sensitivity sensory exchange, then translating their experiences and interpretations into vulnerable writing, multifaceted performance, and collaborative land healing, through a queer and biospheric egalitarian lens. They want to help shift our collective consciousness from anthropocentric to ecocentric, by aiding in the repair of the connective web between humans and the more-than-human world.

They are the co-founder of Sympoetic Ecofabulatory, former creative collaborator at The Future Left, former Biological Science Intern at TreePeople, co-creator of the web series My So-Called Addiction, former creative collaborator at Pussy Power House, the author of Uninloveable: A Book of Faction Prosetry, former talent manager & dancer at R.A.I.D.
